# Welcome

These docs are here to help you **get things done on CabinsPress** — set up your author business, reach readers, sell books, and (on the other side) buy, download, and read them.

CabinsPress is built for independent authors and the people who read them. The help center mirrors that split: most articles are for **authors and their teams** running a workspace, and a separate set is for **readers and fans** who shop, subscribe, or use Camp Fire.

## If you're an author

You're in the right place for questions about writing, your mailing list, email cadences, your author website, shop and payouts, ARC programs, and day-to-day account setup. You don't need to be technical — each article explains what a feature does, who it's for, and how to use it.

Start with [Getting Started](/getting-started/overview) if you're new, or pick a topic from the sidebar.

## If you're a reader or fan

You probably landed here from an author's site or Camp Fire. Look in **For Readers & Fans** for shopping, downloads, and mailing lists, or **Camp Fire** for the mobile reading app.

## A note on how these articles are written

We describe real product behavior — including limits, defaults, and common edge cases — so support answers and the product stay in sync. If something in the app doesn't match what you read here, let us know.
