# Email Opt-Out

## Overview

One-click unsubscribe from a workspace's marketing emails, with a dedicated landing page if they lost the email link.

## How it works

* **Unsubscribe link** in every marketing email footer
* **Dedicated opt-out page** at `/opt-out/{workspace-slug}` if the reader needs it later
* **One-click unsubscribe headers** (RFC 8058) so Gmail and other clients can show a built-in unsubscribe button
* Once opted out, the reader stops receiving **marketing** cadences but still receives **transactional** emails (ARC download links, order confirmations, password resets)
* Opt-out is **workspace-scoped** — opting out of one author doesn't affect other authors
* Opt-out status visible on the reader's profile

## **Re-subscribing:** Authors can flip the marketing consent flag back on from the reader's profile if asked.
